Best Songs to Relax/Reminisce to - Part 4

Time for part four!

1. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

Whenever I feel anxious, I blast this on. It's an incredibly comforting song that reminds people not to worry too much.

2. Mr. Blue Sky by ELO

I just realized this song kinda sounds like the Craig Ferguson song, doesn't it? Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 made this famous for the modern era. Makes you dance like Baby Groot!

3. Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Lorde

This song resonates to me on a spiritual level. Deep down, I just want to rule the world.

4. In My Dreams by REO Speedwagon

This song reminds me of the nights I spent lying on top of my uncle's owner jeep staring at the moon, the naps i had in my dad's old beetle, the afternoons I spent looking at my drawings when i was a kid, and then the night i heard it again in 2019. Peace. Nostalgia. Dreams. Time. perfect song especially near the end.

5. Africa by Toto

I don't know where my nostalgia for this song comes from. My parents didn't even like this song.

6. Beginning Middle End by Leah Nobel

I haven't watched the movie so I don't know the scenes this song was made for, but I love the feels.

7. The Scientist by Tyler Ward, Kina Grannis, Lindsey Stirling

This cover beats the original for me. Violins. A voice as cold as ice. Perfection.

8. Once Click Straight by She

I didn't know this was OPM at first. Lyrics pertain to love at first sight, and the song was love at first listen for me.

9. Minimize by BP Valenzuela

Another sad song with happy beats. Love is so addictive.

10. Une Annee Sans Lumiere by Arcade Fire

I don't know the lyrics of this song yet, but it sounds romantic.

11. Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

This song is so famous you'd recognize it from the first piano note alone. I listened to this in my emo phase but right now I listen to it for its high energy. It feels so triumphant!
